Making your New Year’s resolution is easy. It’s keeping it that’s hard.
 
Here are some real-world tips to get you across your personal finish-line:

Take it down a notch.  Set small, do-able goals.  Make your goal something you can do, instead of the impossible. If you want to start running, begin with one mile, instead of three. You’ll feel a sense of accomplishment and can amp it up after you’ve nailed down the basics.

Share your resolution. If you really want to keep it, give it away – your resolution, that is. Telling friends and family will hold you accountable to your goals, and offer a great support team.

Praise yourself for your success., not to mention resolution abandonment syndrome.(We made that up, but you get the picture!) There's no need to dwell on setbacks. This can cause anxiety and stress. Chart your breakthroughs, this way they are tangible and can give you strength when you're discouraged.

No matter how well you brush, one third of the tooth still remains untouched, which is why you should be flossing daily. To help keep that resolution, make it so you have to move the floss container to reach your toothbrush.
 

If you're more than a moderate drinker, consider curbing your alcohol intake. After all, too much can damage your health. A healthy alternative? Replace drinking nights with gym  nights.

 
Sometimes perking up your looks can perk up your mood and attitude. And being happy is healthy. Start by breaking a few bad hair habits and treat your skin with TLC. That goes for you, too, guys.
 
 
Who wouldn't want to have better sex?  But to stick with it, open the lines of communication with your partner and talk about trying out some new moves. Just always remember to keep protection in mind.
